Oh he had a good back check. It's very simple. The last 5 plus years Brady was the heart and soul of the sens. He simply hasn't played like the heart and soul played of the past 5 years.

Brady's body language says it all. The only time the public/ fans are seeing him smiling is when he's on his podcast with his brother, and honestly, it's normal that he's having fun with his brother and the podcast. But something is definitely wrong here in Ottawa. He's not even made available to the media for the pregame media or post-game media since that very tough media scrum when he returned from the Olympics. I personally feel it affected him. It's not like Brady to avoid the media or not be available to it. His physicality is gone, he's playing emotionless. I can't help but wonder if there's friction. I'm hoping Travis or management pulls him aside and talks to him to make sure he's doing well/ emotionally. If Brady isn't hurt, something is 100% going on. Everyone can see it clearly. When scrums happen on the ice, he looks back to take a glance, then casually skates off the ice. It looks like he's not even willing to help his teammates at this point. It was great to see Cozens step in to fight for Brady a couple of weeks back, but Brady did get sucker punched a few times and not a teammate did anything to stand up for him. Particularly the sucker punch he took from Logan Stanley. There should have been an immediate response. I'm not sure exactly what's causing this lack of emotion or engagement, but one thing is sure, something is very wrong and I hope our captain is okay.
What can we get for Brady and Linus in the post-season?
Awful finishing and crap goaltending ruin an otherwise decent performance. It’s just Groundhog Day following our Sens.
To add in my two cents about Brady. He’s emotionally exhausted. He basically went through a Stanley cup final then we immediately expected him to come back and be a stud like he got a two week break. We as Sens fans have always given him a hard time for being too emotional. Now he’s reined it in a bit and we’re wondering where it went? This is why we can’t have nice things..

i feel brady knows he cant be physical anymore, so he has to play a different style, and he doesnt have the skill for that. Happens to most new dads, soon as they become married with kids they become soft and dont care anymore….until close to retirement ofcourse, then they guve a shit again lol. Trade while his value is way toooo high, sadly. Ullmark a fine example, instead of training like the others he goes on vacation. Players have it wayyyyyyy to good, time to take away some rights….they can play in the khl if they dont like it.

I'm with ya Wally. I cursed at the TV last night when Brady looked like he was dogging it on a bunch of shifts. He just doesn't look the same, no inspiration, no fight, no tenacity, no "LFG" ferocity! I get it about being tired, and the Sam Bennett comment about he'd be dead if he played that way all the time. But you're getting paid 8M cold ones to play and you've not been playing like usual (but he does at the start of the season in some years). Sorry, but you need to play hard because IT'S YOUR F****IN JOB!!!! Need some answers on that one as it's not looking good after the Olympics when he got his gold and visited Agent Orange.

i would like to see a show about Nhl players rights today….seems to be rediculous, being able to basically go wherever you want when you want. I feel NHL ahould be a little more "you are lucky to be here so stfu and play or go to khl". Owners could start this attitude if they all coluded together.
Tim and Jake now run this team. Maybe Brady can't handle that. Am I way off or, is his ego a problem? (BTW, I do not want him to leave. I want him to accept his role.)
