  1. I think a fly line is a good idea, putting our speed into one line with Khusi and Reichel. Considering how slow our team seems to be, a fast line could create great breakaway opportunities

  2. We all know the Bruins development system makes zero sense. We also know sweens signs players to contracts for no apparent reason. Steeves. Eyssimont. Jokiharu. Many defensemen in the past that were bottom 6 guys or guys that should have been in the AHL he gave multi year contracts to.

  3. The playoff structure is terrible.
It should be the top 16 teams. Teams will be in with less points than the eastern teams that don't make it.

  4. Still think Sturm should sit Lindholm for a game or two, but I'm excited to see Reichel. He played really well on the wing with Poitras and his speed was really noticeable which should help that line. While I think it's a good chance to see Reichel, I think it will also help Sturm see what is going on with Lindholm and Geekie because even if he's just OK they no longer have Steeves/Eyssimont as an excuse. Agree with you both about the Bruins not going for McTavish. I still think Sweeney is going to revisit trades with a lot of teams once the season is over, especially around the draft. But it needs to be a trade that is an upgrade like Robert Thomas. Great conversation as always!

  5. Chi fan here. Perimeter skill player that could never translate to the NHL. Can watch him thinking on the ice. Maybe the 3rd team is the charm. Genuinely want to see him succeed.

  6. Is it just me, or has anyone noticed that Brandon Bussi is doing a FANTASTIC job with the Canes, and has a great chance of reaching the finals (but where would we have played him?).. Mark my words,DiPietro will walk when his contract expires. He’ll make a tremendous starter or at worse, back up, WAY BETTER than Korpisalo.. nice guy, lousy goalie

  7. They got Lysell on a line with farinacci and Durran who don’t score a lot… earlier in the season he played some with poitras and merk

  8. Imagine not making the playoffs because 3 have to make it from each division? That could literally happen to the Bruins.
No matter how they do the playoffs, folks are not happy. They do the way they do now because folks wanted more division rivals matchups. We need to do better on the road to make the playoffs. Plain and simple.

  9. Good friend just texted me “there’s parity in the NHL, and PARODY in the Bruins front office” says it all

  10. Im pretty excited to see him play and give him a chance. Love the speed he brings. And its a much needed shake up

  11. I'd like to see him fit in and find his game with Boston like Geekie did!!? Hopefully he fits good and enjoys being a Bruin and finds his game and turns into a crazy steal!!?

  12. Sorry but don’t agree. I would definitely take a look for mctavish, especially when they cost might be a buy low candidate.
You would say no to a package of Potrias, Lohrei and a 1st for him ?
Be crazy to say no when he was a top 3 pick and is struggling now . He only has a 8 million cap hit which is nothing compared to Lindholm

  13. As I recall, Lysell was scoring at a point per game pace during the first half of the season. He was hoping for a call up, but they turned to Poitras instead. Since then, Lysell's productivity has been lackluster. Is he injured or pouting? Like many Bruins fans, I wonder why he hasn't been given more of an opportunity with the big club. Steeves, Blumel, Tufte, Merkulov, Poitras and now Reichel have all gotten a chance but not Lysell. What's the issue? Is he bad defensively, undisciplined, emotionally immature? What's the problem?
