    This season is such a disappointment, if they just didn’t sit on their hands for 3 months and forget how to score goals they could easily be in the payoffs. The fact that teams like the islanders, penguins, bruins, red wings, sens and jackets are all in the mix and the devils aren’t is a disgrace.

    Anyway, always fun to beat the rangers and at least they’re playing like they should be down the stretch. Don’t really care about draft positioning at this time because an 18 year old isn’t going to save this team, they need to figure it out by next year. Hope a miracle trade falls in their laps, but I’m not holding my breath.

    Man it’s been a rough season for both teams but there’s a clear divide between the Devils and the Rangers still. Felt like the Rangers didn’t even care about a rivalry game on home ice aside from Quick making sure it wasn’t 10 goals against.

    Jack insisted his celly after his goal was just because he was glad to get one after so many looks but he can’t convince me that he didn’t enjoy silencing the Rangers crowd just a bit. Like if you can’t be the beloved hero the next best thing is getting to be the villain and it’s gotta feel extra fun to get to walk into MSG a few times a year and break hearts.
