Forget playoffs. This team canât beat a fly
As someone who was at the game sitting next to Mammoth fans with my Eichel jersey on I was embarrassed for my team. Extremely poor play. Bad passing, almost 30 shots off net, defense whiffs swing and miss, tripping over nothing and mishandling pucks that are on your stick. Bowman (The Postman) hit his 10th post in a row I do believe tonight and Mitch missed the net more than 3 times as I counted at least 5 times and might have missed some. On a good note Akira was first star and only star tonight.
It's time for Cassidy to start looking for a Realtor.

Not Cassidy's fault our shooting accuracy is horrific. We couldnât hit a soccer goal right now.
For all the awesome trades and upgrades this team has made the goal tending had been bad since the cup run. When Thompson went down with injuries at the end of the season, Hill stepped up. But he wasn't the guy and I said it then. Kelly got those cup colored glasses on, signed him to an extension and here we are. Third best SA in the league, 30th in save percentage. Team isn't playing great as a whole but this team should have left the rost the way it was, move Hill out and tried something else. It's not an easy position to play but this is an embarrassment.
the VGK goaltending has been abysmal since they won the Cup. also we should get rid of William Karlsson , Reilly Smith and Brandon Saad. a total waste of 10 million against the cap hit especially Karlsson.
I watched tonight's game. Utah won because they out skated and out worked Vegas..They are a very talented and hungry young team.They have some young athletic forwards like Keller ,Cooley and Guenther who skate well , hustle and play hard.
If Utah plays Vegas in the 1st round of the playoffs, they could possibly beat Vegas ..Vegas needs to rediscover their scoring touch and start getting better goaltending, if they want to go on a long playoff run.
