Yesterday was the first time in years the wings looked like a gritty playoff team but this team is no where near built for playoff hockey. That’s a stretch.
They don’t have the power forwards that can score,check and FIGHT. Plus they don’t have that stay at home clear the front of the net bust your lip type if D man. This team will get pushed around by dirty filthy teams in the playoffs watch and see.
Why don’t you talk about the bad trades like the Walman or the only reason Yzerman had to give up a first and third for Faulk is because he didn’t get a right handed 3 or 4 last off season so he has to pay a high price for a 34 soon to be 35. Maybe he could have got that D man last summer than got a North American power forward with that first pick.
