    Oh joy.  Maybe Dallas will think it is a scheduled loss for Minnesota, given the injuries, play like crap and the Wild sneak out a win.

    Oh I am just hoping the slide would stop for once.

    We knew JEEK would be out so that’s not a surprise. Continuing to rest Kap and he’s not practicing today either is a bit more of a surprise.

    I’m old enough to remember the last time Kaprizov was day to day and he ended up missing half the season

    May as well let the boys feel better now before playoffs. It’s not like we’re exactly fighting for a spot. Besides, going by season records each team in the top of the central has practically identical home and away records.

    Dallas is 6 points up with two games in hand and have played much better in their last ten games. Catching them is already seeming like an uphill battle or we would have already done it.

    Not suggesting the Wild throw games, but they aren’t catching Colorado-Dallas so rest the dinged up and try to get to the playoffs as healthy & rested as possible.
    Meanwhile the Stars & Avs need to keep fighting every game, probably right to the very end.

    They absolutely don’t care about points the rest of the season. And that’s fine.

    Hughes and Faber should sit too. The rest of the slappies should figure out how to score.
