Man I hope Mikkola is not out for a long time, but man it didn’t look good. Forget about losing the game man, that injury took the air out of it…..

Ok let’s stay out of r/hockey for a little while after that Greer hit.
That may be up for supplemental discipline. In the back, no playing the puck, not enough room to protect yourself…I will be surprised if the league doesn’t deal him a few games.
That was a really bad extra penalty that cost us 2 goals and Mikkola. If we weren’t tanking up to this game, we are now.
That sucked. Hope Jovo is right and that was a stinger but it looked bad… Poor Mikkola 😢.

Maurice says “We will miss him,” on Mikkola, obviously long term. Man they just got Jones and Kulikov back and now this. Our D just can’t catch a break.
I hope Mikkola takes as long as he needs to heal and hopefully it’s nothing that needs surgery or anything too intense.

I was there! Been a Panthers fan since I was a little kid and this was my first time getting to see them play live. I’ve also been a Flames fan for over 20 years now (caught Red Mile fever in ’04 and never kicked it) so my wife surprised me with tickets to see my two teams play as an anniversary gift. Definitely a lifelong bucket list item for me, I don’t plan on waiting another 30 years to do it again.
