Why dos anyone think the Leafs organization is even trying to win. As long as they are making money for the shareholders they couldn't care less if they win or not. The fans have to stop going to games and stop buying merch and corporations need to give up their boxes and when the revenue goes down then ownership might do something. Toronto has always been this way. The GM and the coach are nto great, but this is on the players. No competitiveness, no drive, no team cohesion, nothing …. Players that need to be embarrassed like they after the Matthews hit to play hard are not the players you want on your team ..

Design a plan, do what needs to be done. Move on from Berube., rid yourself of Rielly, etc. Then approach Matthews, let him know the plan, ask him his thoughts. Go from there. The team needs alot more heart, speed, tenacity, and finally, a top dman who can move the puck and play consistently, great Defense.
