I think the increased scrutiny on Woll, who has been probably the best Leaf this year, is maybe Berube knowing he’s going to be fired and blaming Woll for whatever his personal absence from the team at the start of the season. I wouldn’t be surprised looking back that he feels like they could have survived the first chunk of the season when Stolarz was either hurt or almost unplayable if Woll had been in the picture. Tinfoil hat stuff but I truly don’t get why he’s going hard at Woll, who has been great.

Not a great day to defend Willy tbh… Again. Man he’s just had a brutal season. Injuries, middle finger fiasco, meh Olympics performance, lack of response when Matthews went down, hurting Stolarz in warm up… Need to flush this turd of a season.

Look at their lineup… Roster is solely on management. It’s kids playing in an adult league, their team on paper is trash.
