It’s funny, one of my most memorable Randy Hahn calls over the last 20+ years is a Jerome Iginla breakaway to ice the game. All he did was the quick dull “score”. Idk why that has stuck with me after all these years.
also, the West in general seems to be the lesser talented of the two conferences. It's almost "un-ba-leeeevable!" to think but sure enough they got a shot! Go Sharks!
When he mentioned Pride, that hit home because as a Bay Area native living in Seoul, during the winter months, I wore and still wear my Sharks scarf with pride and even during the dark days, I had belief that someday, things will change. Now it has come true. I still wear my jerseys too. But having pride in the color teal and the logo means a lot now that we are taking steps forward.
4:07 something to note is that the horrendous start to the season still impacts the numbers to this day. I also think the Sharks are a team that has TERRIBLE games more often than other teams, but are also “good” more often, as opposed to being consistently mediocre. So even though the stats don’t look great, they are basically “reverse stat padding” in a few games, which bloats the total numbers. Ofc there are still some consistent issues, like the amount of shots they allow per game.
Randy’s voice will be on a lot of sports highlights in the near future.

looking forward to seeing Randy's name go into the rafters along with Dan. They've been the voice of the franchise for so long and have done such great work. Both among the best in the biz.
Wennberg, the first meaningful vet to re-sign with the Sharks. That is good news for the team. That said, selling high on Wennberg might have helped them solve the defensive issues. Which are big issues.
