Probably should have been more. Ridiculous play in a meaningless game.

Total other NHL team bias! I cant believe they would suspend Greer when Zary clearly wanted to be interferred with and then jumped in front of him and dove at the boards like that!? Actions like that should be punished because it sets a bad precident. Our Panthers need to be protected from blatant miss calls like this. I guess we are just gonna wait til Greer or someone else twists an ankle trying to avoid some guy being boarded in front of him. I am gonna start a petition to the Department of Panther safety to call out this atrocity for what it is.

3 games is quite low. It should have been more in my opinion.
Minimum should’ve been 5, but more would’ve been warranted.

If he shoved Zary like that in the center of the ice it’s a 2 minute penalty and the game keeps moving along.
Doing that shove so close to the boards could’ve easily busted his neck in career or life altering ways…was pretty awful to watch.
Maybe now we can stay off the penalty kill. Might actually help us win.

Honestly should be more, he nearly paralyzed Zary and indirectly caused Mikkolas knee injury due to his recklessness causing the penalty kill

Such a dumb move. It was easy to get behind the guy before this, really a shame.
Not surprised. This has been the way DoPS has been trending for years. Results based punishment. Zary was not seriously injured(thankfully), therefore, Greer’s punishment is less.

I don’t agree with it but, that is how DoPS sees it. What Greer did was dangerous and should probably be more than three games but, DoPS says it’s three. Hopefully he doesn’t do something that egregious again. He will have to answer the bell next time he plays Calgary.
Should have been longer tbh. But the league has been giving everyone way to short of a punishment this year, Gudas only getting 5 games was a joke
Honestly, 3 games is a fair amount.
I’m so glad most everyone agrees that it should be more than just 3 games. It was such a dumb ass dick thing..so unnecessary. I was so disappointed. They should take this kind hit more seriously. I know its a brutal sport, its physical…but hits like that should not be taken lightly with such a low suspension.😓🙄
