Well that’s now two CBJ Isles games without CBJ getting a PP chance. Granted they looked horrible. Sorokin stole it

This has been such a wild season for me. At first I was all in on a chance of the 1st pick. Then that went out the window and I was excited to see them in the playoffs. Then I got mad because they were blowing the 1st pick chance and a chance at the playoffs. Then happy again.
The reason this wasn’t my ideal outcome is because I’d rather be 3 points ahead of the Isles with a game in hand than 1 point.
We need to separate from one of the teams. The Isles winning puts them both 1 point behind us now.
If the goal is playoffs, we should only be focusing on one team. I’d rather be 3rd with a 3 point cushion over one team than 2nd with a 1 point cushion over two teams
Pens may drop out of the playoff picture Tuesday night. Pens have a, likely, angry Avs team looking to redeem themselves after the last meeting, while the Islanders have Chicago and Columbus has Philly. Detroit has Ottawa on the Sens’ second of a back to back.
I am so curious what their record would be if OT wasn’t 3 on 3 and didn’t have shootouts
Race is heating up. The penguins will need to win a bunch of games. Isles and CBJ look really good, likely won’t be tanking out

We have the regulation win tie breaker over everyone at least so really we just need to tie the Jackets or Isles
All this talk about the isles and jackets, are we not eligible for either wildcard spot? Or are those teams points starting to become out of reach?
