This is just a rumor as of right now I watched a podcast on this yesterday apparently during the Olympics Auston Matthews, Bill Guerin & Quinn Hughes went out to a secret lunch together… There's also a rumor that there's a banner outside the arena in Minnesota saying "Come Here Auston Quinn Is Waiting For You"
I also heard that Minnesota has 1st round draft picks in 2027,2028, 2029 and Minnesota also has a ton of 3rd round picks.
IF there is any truth to this the LEAFS would be stupid Not to do this deal! As far as The Leafs goaltending goes? Get rid of Stolarz hes a Cancer he's not a starter and he's calling the shots in Toronto he refused to go to the AHL during his rehab assignment what a Goof!

I don't think ANY of those assets are worth a GENERATIONAL goal scorer like Auston. I'd like to see Auston get the hell out of Toronto but I don't think the Wild would be able to satisfy what Toronto would rightfully demand. They would need a HAUL back.

Toronto move on from Matthews would scream rebuild and they aren’t going to want older guys. Wallstedt, Yurov, Lambos, 27’ first and possibly 28’ first. Cap space isn’t going to be an issue with it going up about 10m every year and Kirill, Quinn, Matthews extension lining up nicely over next three years
All I know is, if was Matthews I'd want out of Toronto ASAP

It feels like after the Quinn trade the Wild are going down the rung. Chemistry is a little lost. If an AM trade happens idk what to think about it.
If this happens the Wild will be called America's team. Boldy Quinn Faber and AM. I wouldn't mind it
would love to have Auston in Columbus. but if we can't get him I'm a wild fan. He needs to get out of Canada!
