Same thing happened in 2013. We traded Iggy and Bouwmeester… things were looking good to draft MacKinnon or Barkov, and then we racked up points when nothing was on the line.
Sorry, while i get your point Conroy has got rid of a ton of players the last cpl years and Cgy's best ''talent''. I mean i do not think anyone thought Weegs would even get traded and You guys have been calling Kadri contract horrible and unmovable as recently as last Summer. Amazing return on both. Again i get it but this is a TIGHT team and say what you will Huska has them ready to go almost every night. Officially yr one of the rebuild and Cgy all ready has a top 10 prospect pool in the entire league. The kids play hard and ya love to see it. Only way would be to call up a goalie thats not Wolfy or Cooley and that would not fly in the room. Nothing guaranteed and even if we finish 2nd last lottery could still mess it all up. Deep draft and we got picks and Conroy and co have been drafting great so sit back and let Conroy cook👍just my 2 cents.

my Tankathon results haven't been too bad, but Im also only doing a couple dozen at a time. Last time I ran 20, Flames picked 1st 5 times, and fell below 2nd only twice

I do get it, we can't control the outcome and the team has to play to win, and try hard, but I guess it just feels like we're always falling short of everything, last year with the playoffs and now this😢
