Going from ‘Saddledome’ to ‘Place’…
We simply gotta all agree to call it the FirePlace
I feel old because I have vague memories of being a little kid and seeing the Saddledome being built. Never even got a chance to set foot in it because we moved before it was done and I’ve never been back. May have to find room in the budget to get out there next year for old time’s sake!
I like the open air concept, don’t put a roof on it
I hate the generic name. Scotia Place, Rogers Place, who tf wants that? I’m going to miss saying « the dome », there’s something special about older unique buildings.
I prefer to call it Weegerville
Good old taxpayer dollars going to work only to never be recouped. Don’t you love when the rich get richer?
It still blows my mind that this is going to have LESS seats than the Saddledome
