Islanders need to overhaul the Defense in the offseason. Aitcheson and George should be on the team, and Mayfield needs to be the #7 defenseman
Mayfield isn’t very skilled he’s lumbering and seems like he has a hard time skating, handling the puck and making quick decisions at the same time.
Eklund is an 19 year old, 160 pound player. No freakin way he plays with the big team until maybe next year
Sign another 30 year old for 3 years lma why not everyone else is old
SOMEONE PLEASE explain to me how Soucy was chosen for a Star of the Game over Schaefer?!?! Schaef almost singlehandedly saved us from certain OT – stepped in like Mariano Rivera to the plate and CLOSED the coffin on those midwestern bums
Guys the ad break every 3-4 minutes of this video on YouTube makes it pretty much unbearable. Maybe that’s not your call , but good Lord it is awful.
I Have Vasy Winning The Vezina 😉
Isles Gotta Sign Tony D and Rid Themselves of Duclair, Soucy, n Drouin 💯
I Wonder What 🗽 Does @ The Draft and In The Offseason 🤔
Play George or Warren with Mayfield. Or sit Mayfield until the playoffs. They cannot be on the ice together. Scheaf's next goal ties him with Brian Leetch for the rookie goal record. How do you feel about that, Jonny?🙃
I think the top 10 or 11 teams in the East would all be in 1st place in the Pacific division.
Vasilevsky. Tampa has dealt with injuries all fucking season long. You guys are nuts lol. Roy coaches a system than benefits his fucking tender. Arthurs a fucking homer lol.
Tampas D has played most the season without their #1 guy, Hedman, on top of plenty other injuries to their D. Who would you rather be without for an extended period, Romanov or Hedman? Also keep in mind Tampa is in a far better division than the Metro lol.
Lastly, can you guys make Johnny note when he comments on a Tony D extension….this is like the 3rd fucking time hes mentioned it over the last few weeks, and you guys already said yes, but probably just a 2 year extension w/ a slight raise. Step up Johnny.
Barzal also looked like a cute little headcase with Suzuki smiling at him. Way to go 👏😉
The Devils PK/PP is right where you want it but it is VERY worth the mention that Keefe brought in OFF + DEF Coaches & the same players went from Ranked #2 Overall Special Teams to 21st.
I personal think Keefe should be fired as it took all his star players to do so well without him in Olympics for Keefe to tweak his game plan.
May as well bring in Torts or Lavi to keep the recycling ♻️ program alive!
Signed, a frustrated Ranger fan
THE TRUTH IS I THINK TORONTO STILL CANT DEAL WITH THE ISLANDERS WINNING 4 CUPS IN A ROW AND ALMOST A 5TH…IM STILL MAD THAT THEY CHANGED THE SCHEDULE IN THE LAST SERIES TO FAVOR THE OILERS FOR THE 1ST TIME IN HOCKEY HISTORY…..2 ON LONG ISLAND THEN 3 IN EDMONTON..WE SWEPT EDMONTON IN THE REGULAR SEASON THAT YEAR….IT WAS BULL CRAP. WHAT THEY DID PLUS EVERYONE WAS PLAYING HURT.ON THE ISLES….ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL WITH HEALTH AND THE SCHEDULE WE WOULD HAVE WON THE 5TH…IVE BEEN WATCHING THIS ROYAL SHAFTING FOR YEARS NOW AND IVE HAD ENOUGH….I THINK PATRICK ROY SHOULD JUST CALL THEM OUT ON IT….WERE GETTING SCREWED ANYWAY..WHAT ARE THEY GONNA DO TO US …TAKE AWAY A GOAL…THERE GONNA DO THAT ANY WAY SO EFFFUM………ANDY FROM LONG ISLAND NY
Pete DeBoer would be my guy if Keefe doesnt stay. Or Torts. I do know the players have said Keefe is extremely intense, and Ruff was very laid back. I think they need someone in the middle (DeBoer) but, i cant see how Torts, with his faith in our team on paper, how he wouldnt turn them around REAL quick. He turns boys into men, the Devils need to play more like a team. Everyone aside from Nico needs to take more responsibility as a leader as well. Lavs would work for me too, i think hes much more familiar with the players on the Devils than people think.
