There will definitely be booing from Flyers fans out west. Phans of Philly has a trip that is going to all three west coast games

I feel like the Flyers signing Luchanko so quickly was an overreaction to the Cutter Gauthier situation. I feel bad for Luchanko because I saw what he was last playoffs in the AHL and frankly, I think the Flyers made a huge mistake by sending him back to the OHL. Sometimes players play better against higher competition, thus I would have kept Luchanko on the Fyers in a 3rd or 4th line center spot and let him ride the season and develop under Tocchet. I think it would have been better for him.
Keeping Michkov on the 2nd unit is a fireable offense IMO. The Flyers have the worst PP in the league! What are we doing here?? Do we want to develop Michkov or burry him? Seems like the Flyers still have a disconnect between Briere and Tocchet. Cates is a 3rd line center! He has no business being on the PP at all. Meanwhile Andrae gets no PP time at all? York couldn't hit the ocean with the puck, he should not be on the PP also.
I like how Russ is always saying what a team that was concerned about developing youngsters should do. Too bad Tocchet doesn't care about developing younger players.
At this point, the Flyers should just trade all their prospects and draft picks for players like Erik Johnson and good slow, old, 4th liners and #6/7 d-men like Noah Juulsen. Young guys aren't good in the locker room and don't play "the right way" because Tocchet won't let them play or get called up to be in the locker room. We can have unproven players possibly making mistakes. Better to lose 1-0 than 5-4. Better to have old guys around who have no offense to keep this from being exicting losing hockey instead of boring losing hockey.
We need more guys who buy into "Flyers' Culture". Guys who are used to not making the playoffs or winning, but who are liked by their teammates and who don't want to get traded.
I wouldn't want to get traded either when there is no pressure to actually be good by the administration. You are only judged by if you like the team and are good in the locker room.
