Button has Stenberg falling to 4 here. Which would be very nice to have him on the board when we inevitably lose the lottery and pick third

Also the Ruck twins are ranked 10th and 12th here. Higher than the consensus, but its likely the dream of us picking them with Minny’s pick and our 2nd is Joever 😔

I’ve been noticing that Chase Reid has been moving into that third spot in draft rankings over Keaton Verhoeff. So that will make for a interesting decision if the Canucks draft third whether to go with Verhoeff or Chase Reid. Also, Gavin McKenna being at number 1 is no surprise. The jump he has made is incredible. 33 points in 18 games after 18 points in his first 16. If you end up with a top 10 pick in this draft you should come away with a very good player.

This is going to be one hell of an interesting draft. Consensus BPA picks are looking less clear as time goes on, and even the most likely #1 pick in McKenna has question marks too.

I mean I like Craig Button but I think it’s pretty obvious with his lists it’s mostly for engagement and debates. He’ll drop McKenna down to #5 before the draft or something outrageous so everyone is buzzing about it.

Still got love for Button and will always read a mock draft or draft ranking. I never chose this life, this life chose me.

Interesting changes.. would love if we can grab Stenburg if we miss out on the 1st pick. Maybe we snag Ryan Lin with Minnys pick..

Reid and Verhoeff both possibly being available at #3 creates an interesting dynamic because they are both RD. I wouldn’t want to see us jump to trading an RD right away if we draft one of them. But one way it could go is if whichever one we draft is looking top pair calibre, we trade someone to address our forward lines, draft capital, etc.

I’d also love to get Stenberg. If he develops well, he slides right in.

Overall it’s good position we’re in here.

I think there is going to be some strategic drafting based on need. If (god forbid) the Leafs move up they really need a puck moving d-men, so I would see (D) Chase Ried being their best option.

This guy had Draisaitl at 15th in his draft year

These kids and their gold chains lol

No matter how the draft shakes out, I just sort of have tunnel vision on McKenna.

Feels like he can come in and fill the void that was left by Quinn Hughes as a dynamic playmaker/playdriver (albeit different positions).

Well, if there is one thing I know.

Our organization excels in getting brothers or twins.

    Best in league in fact.

Let’s do it and worry about consequences later

  12. That’s a huge jump for the Ruck twins, I guess the whole question of drafting them especially together would be gone if they go in that range.
