    Why the hell the NHL still uses a points system after getting rid of ties is as baffling a thing as there is right now. There is no need to have a points system without ties. Not a 3-point one, not a 2-point, and certainly not this one with loser points.

    No league on the planet that has tieless games does this. None. And the NFL, which rarely has a tie doesn’t bother either.

    Wins-Losses-Win% done.
