Wild game but at least it wasn’t a complete collapse. Team finished strongly in the 3rd
LFGGGGGGGGG
Well that was certainly something
Devils beat a very good Stars team, while setting an NHL record for failed easy clears in the third period.
Historic night.
hope frosty is alright
They should have been punished about 6 times with the Dallas net empty. It’s a miracle it’s not tied. Wild game
W frist period
Let’s keep it going and take it to the Preds in the community!
I love high scoring Devils games again! What could have been this year…
Also can we spend the entire training camp practicing clearing our zone?
Mercer again is ending the season looking lost. Hoping he can figure out how to turn it around next year.
I love when Dano’s inner player/fan comes out like when he got so mad at Nico for not shooting for the empty net lol. Voicing the feelings of Devils fans everywhere!
Crazy game! Figured Dallas would be making a hell of a rally with 40 minutes to make up a 3 goal deficit. Only a dozen more Devils games left this year so let’s try to keep having fun.
ive resigned myself to the fact that there is no way we were ever getting my nittany lion so might as well enjoy some random wins
Team wins when there’s no pressure to win 🤷♂️
We won! And we won in Dougies 900th game!
That was a wild game. It was so much fun. Glad I stayed up for it.

Devils win!
But still….get Keefe out of here.
What a game! I’ll take these crazy high scoring games over the 2-1 snoozers any day. Keefe might want to have a heart attack but oh well. A lot of people thought they’d get their asses kicked tonight but I don’t know, I had a good feeling. They play the western teams pretty well and it kind of reminded me of the game against Dallas a couple of years ago. I’ll always think of it as the Nick DeSimone and Tomas Nosek legacy game where they went into Dallas and scored a ton of goals and shockingly beat them lol
Devils won. That’s all that matters. They took the lead early, fudged things in the second, but were able to hang on to the lead and get a security goal.
WE JUST BEAT THE SECOND BEST TEAM IN THE NHL?!:
* granted we played ONE good period against them. hung on for the second period. and did just enough to bring it home in the third.
* 22-0-0 when we have a lead going into the third period. BONKERS
* defensemen were involved in tonight’s goals all night! Nemec, Hughes, Hamilton, Siegenthaler! thats what you like to see!
* the Jack line is brilliant when they’re out of their own zone, but need a lot of work in their own zone.
* frankly most of our lines/defense is shite in our own zone.
* Jake Allen deserved that win
* we got Otter pulled!
* I was very concerned for our PK, but for the most part they killed what they needed to.
* our power play was ugly af. I understand why you wanna keep the first unit out there for as long as possible, but it wasn’t working tonight. we should have seen way more of the second unit, they’re far more into shooting than the first unit is.
* that was a fun fucking game. a heart attack of a game. but a fun game.
* and we won a milestone game for Dougie! yay!
* glad Nemo is okay and hope Gritsy is okay
Nashville next! I just wanna continue watching fun hockey!
Not saying that this team deserves it, but the NHL seriously needs to look into abolishing the loser point. NJ is 36-34 sitting 11 pts out of a spot while Pittsburgh is 35-36 sitting in playoff position.
Is there a place to check team records leading after 2 periods this season? I’m wondering which other teams are undefeated like we are in that stat
Any word on grits?
This would’ve been a legendary day for the tank if we lost…. but i will never be upset with a win! Loved the offense
Almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Only Keefe would say he liked parts of that 2nd period better than the first.. also said Grits needs to be “assessed”. Hope he’s ok.
from Keefe’s win speech, looks like Stefan Noesen traveled with the team.
