@Predators de Nashville

devrions-nous évoquer Martin lorsque les lévriers seront éliminés ?

En voyant Frondell, Desnoyers et Hagens recevoir l’appel, je me demande si Brady Martin pourrait avoir un impact sur les séries éliminatoires.

    He can only play in 7 games (including playoffs) to remain elc slide eligible. I can see them bringing him onto the team, but I don’t see him playing any more than that.

    No, we have other kids that are a bit older that need the ice time. Playing Martin over Wood or ROR would be crazy right now. He has also already played 3 of his 9 game allotment before we burn the first year of his entry level contract.

    It’s just an observation, but in the game I saw him play in early in the season, he doesn’t seem quite ready yet. You’d be throwing him to the wolves against either Anaheim or Colorado before he’s even played in a regular-season rivalry game. There are some better options with more pro readiness in Milwaukee.

    It’s gonna depend on how well the team does and how close the playoff race remains. If the front office thinks we can make a push for WC1 then I don’t see them rocking the boat. If we get in a less volatile position I could see him coming in for the final few games

    It would be interesting to see him back, but Barry will not want to restrict the future GM’s options by playing him too many games. Also, we are on a heater and have serious eyes towards the playoffs. Martin will not be an improvement over any of the current roster. I could see him get called up to ride the bench / hang out with the team if he doesn’t have anything better to do. Who knows? In a deep run like 2017 and all the injuries that pile up, maybe we have to put him in.

    IMHO we won’t really see Martin until the trade deadline next year and he’ll come in as a wing

    If we weren’t in the playoff race they would bring him up, but I think it’s too soon to be pushing him into these higher intensity matchups during this playoff race and the potential ensuing series against a juggernaut

    Absolutely not, he’s still recovering from a shoulder injury and he hasn’t played a lot of hockey this year because of injuries. Just isn’t worth it during a playoff push and his development.

    I could see Muzzatti more so(6’6 center), granted I think he should be playing in the AHL first.
