Could really use that shot on the power play
He is so good, him and Michkov on the power play will be ridiculous
I think this is a great play to highlight how he’s thinking steps ahead. Before he grabs the puck he’s already turning to throw it to an open space, his teammate isn’t even in the zone when he passes it, and as soon as he passes it he’s waiting for the return pass for a one timer.
It’s 4v4 so more space and UConn isn’t exactly stacked with NHL talent, but he saw that turnover and saw three steps ahead to step up a high percentage goal where a lot of guys would have just jumped on it and put the puck on net.
That play reminds me a lot of Foerster…damn I miss him
maybe its a flyers thing but when was the last time youve seen one of our guys ready up for a one-t like that? low ass angle makes himself available and creates some distance. we dont do that.
Haven’t felt this good about a prospect in 20 years. He’s going to be good right away and then the sky’s the limit. Flyers fans are gonna love this guy , old school Corey Perry style
