    He didn’t avoid injury.

    His fucking face was sliced. That is the very definition of an injury.

    I think the article is missing the word « serious » before injury. But yes, he is indeed lucky. Could have lost an eye.

    As a skater, I’m pretty sure he didn’t « avoid injury ». It looked like the blade got kicked into his face, and he was really lucky that the wound was probably not that deep.
