Interesting that they didn’t include the senators considering that’s the only team for a wild card spot we don’t control our own destiny over.
This division is such a slugfest. 14% odds with a 95 point pace is unreal.
I honestly think our best shot is stealing the Penguins spot in the division. They have been losing games and their schedule is tough. Plus Crosby just got hurt. Gotta beat out the Islanders or Blue Jackets too

The thing thats going to make their run so much more improbable is that they dont just need to win. They could do that. I could seriously see them winning 12 or 13 out of 16. But They need to win a lot of these games in regulation…and theyve proven all season that its a very tall task for them.
Welp, if there’s one thing I know about Flyers hockey is they manage to disappoint me every season. So that means they’re going to lose this one in regulation. Therefore, to counter this, I’m going to bet an exorbitant amount of money on Detroit today, so that when the Flyers actually win it will be MORE disappointing because I’m going to go broke.

At this point, the Flyers need WAY too much to break their way and none of it has been happening. The Jackets are legit, the Wings are getting their act together after their skid, The Sens are on a massive heater, and out of our 11 games remaining, there’s 5 games of playoff contenders and 3 games of cup contenders. I do agree that our best way in is Metro 2 or 3 since the WC is gonna be nuts.
Maybe if they don’t go 4-8-3 in January like they do **every fucking year it seems** and we have a shot, but I just don’t see it happening.
The Flyers are making the playoffs… because of the implication.
