The wild record against playoff teams is Stanley cup worthy. Their record against non playoff teams is really bad
Tbd if the slump is worth it.
I know players would rather win the gold but I’d rather have a cup
Honestly who cares about gold? It’s a single game so it’s honestly next to meaningless. Canada wins that gold metal game 7 to 8 out of 10 times, and I say that as a fan of Team USA.
None of that matters now. With 8 games left to play, whatever. They’ll stumble along into the playoffs winning maybe 4 of 8.
It will be interesting to see how they do against Dallas on April 9th.
Pre game for the Minnesota/Dallas first round playoff series.
Not too terrible, but those Philly, NY, and Toronto games make this look bad
i am not american so the slump is not worth it to meeee
okay what im hearing is that we’re still better than we were in october! so we just need to do whatever they did in november again and we will win the stanley cup!
Gus is the only one with wins.
Aside from the Flyers and Bruins game, I thought the team could have won all the other games.
It doesn’t make any difference at this point. They are going to be on the road against Dallas in the first round and that has been clear for 3 weeks. The only thing that matters is those 7 games (or less).
People talk about the break and completely ignore how different our team became immediately after the break. New faces, new chemistry, and a couple of key injuries in that stretch tell a much better tale then blaming 3 guys for a gold medal hangover. Winning the division was never in the cards so let’s get the slump out of the way now while we find our rhythm again with these new faces and lines and make a deep run!
The games are relatively meaningless. They know they are playing Dallas. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

It’s clear that the break in the system hurt some teams more than others. For us in particular it was not just our players but coaching staff as well that were there. For the NHL players they fought to get back to the Olympics, it’s something that was important to them. For Bolds, Fabes, and Quinn I’m sure they have no regrets. That’s a medal that few American men get. It’s a crazy accomplishment.
Generally, we need to get to the post season and then what happens happens. We are so close to the end. There’s a lot of reasons why they aren’t as dominant and some make sense and some maybe are worrisome.
If you think they aren’t aware of their records or their losses or their weaknesses you’re crazy. I’m sure they’re very aware of everything.
And Hynes just sits on the bench watching and HOPING things turn around. Doing nothing isn’t an answer.
I’ll take the blame. I started watching. I’ll stop. I’m sorry.
They’re conserving & healing. In a sleeper state. 3rd place was written in stone for this year.
I am more concerned by the number of shots we can have in a game without scoring.
If they’re going to play Dallas they should rest everyone who’s sore so they can be ready for that. I know that won’t happen but all I can say is the Wild are the closest to a championship and also have the most to prove. Playoffs matter
