We need a billionaire with the funds for an arena and an expansion fee. There is obviously a group trying to form that, but at the end of the day, they only have so much power.
Support the hockey we have and show them that this is a solid market. Tune into the NHL playoffs and show that this is a solid market. Support the other local teams and show then that this is a solid market.

Phoenix is a good sports market I think it’s going to happen eventually but unfortunately I think it’ll be awhile

It took Winnipeg 15 years to get the Jets back although that’s clearly a less attractive market to Phoenix. It will take Seattle 20 years to get the NBA back when that happens
