  1. %100 DJ trusted they would be ready to go . HE WAS WRONG ! And he is definitely not the answer ! ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY on being prepared for the first home after a road trip . F ing thoroughly out worked !

  2. Where you finish , usually depends on where you start . And they were not ready at the start of the game , it set the tone and likely outcome to come and it did ! They are a garbage group !

  3. Who do we blame for them to not be ready to start and compete ?! I could really careless now if they miss the post season , if they care why should I , and they’ll probably get swept if somehow they do make it . They have zero fitness , and ZERO RESILIENCE!

  4. Luc needs to talk with DD about retiring before next season. And if he won't, Luc needs to use the buy out option. He's now hurting the team. And a lot of that has to do with how badly he's overplayed by DJ.

If this crappy culture of the Kings continues, I'll probably switch teams to Utah.

  5. Teams hit zero heart zero sense of urgency pretty much the same speech that we give every year since 2014 , this team just doesn’t have that IT factor

  6. They keep losing when everyone else seems to play in their favor. Already had every chance to make it. They're simply not a playoff team, don't deserve it and would get swept first round anyways.

  7. It’s not that they lost. It’s that they showed their true identity once again. Soft. No heart. No push back. No fight. This has been an issue for years now.

  8. At least we have 7 in a row at home. Hopefully the kings can continue their disastrous L home streak and we get a higher draft pick and hopefully get in top 10/5! Time to change the whole construction and mind set of this team and organization. They have always been ok with losing for years now

  9. This is very good for the Kings. They have no chance to win anything in the playoffs and this is a deep draft this year. Kings need to clear the front office and start the 5 year too late rebuild. I’d swap this post-Kopitar roster with either the Sharks or Ducks.

  10. The games that matter. Haven’t mattered to this team all year. All games matter but I’m talking about those games that are extra important ie the two games coming back from Olympic break and last night.

  11. Doughty is done, get rid of Anderson , Ceci, Edmondson. The whole defense is slow as molasses. Bring in young fast skating d-men.

  12. Dang, those "No Kings" protests appear to have been pretty effective since none of our Kings showed up for this game. I appreciate fans who want the Kings to do well, but reality sucks and so does this team, from the President down through the players. Our top performer is the King's equipment manager.

  13. Consistently bad….I've already lost hope. This is a 500 team at best. I feel like they have to many new players to gel in a short period of time to get it together.

  14. Why want them to go to the playoffs? After 4 consecutive series defeats to Edmonton… that just shows they aren’t built for playoff hockey. At least not yet.

  15. Now that Hiller was Fired like most of all of you called for his head and blamed him… Including you Eddie..
    NOW WHAT!!!
Who are you going to blame NOW??
Luc, Blake, DJ, Matt Greene, The Zamboni Driver????
I have said all along that a coaching change will not make a difference.

It’s the Team.. when are all of you gonna realize it?
They are big boy NHL professionals and need to take accountability for their play..

  16. I have been a Kings fan since 1968-69. This edition of the team is not fun to watch. They can’t score. The goaltending is good but allows momentum breaking goals, they lose to teams they should beat, they are terrible in OT and shoot-outs, they can’t hold a lead, and they lack killer instinct.

Right now, I don’t care who they trade trying to improve the team. I don’t see the Kings making the playoffs for a while. Anaheim and Edmonton own the two top spots. The VGK are in the same boat at the Kings. The third spot in the Pacific Division will be up for grabs.

  17. If you really think about it, we just got whooped by the team whose example we should follow. The Mammoth are actually the Coyotes 2 years removed from being the worst team in the league. What happened to the Yotes? How about new ownership which led to new management which led to a coaching staff which led to the development of a team identity which led to a strategy for obtaining the players needed to implement it and a change from a losing culture to a winning culture. If the Mammoth had stayed in Arizona as the Yotes, would they be on the cusp of making the playoffs? Would they be whipping the crap out of our Kings on our home ice? We need to follow this model, change the leadership, change the coaching, change the players, change the culture. Three years of pain to get back to being in the run for the Cup versus another 5 years of mediocrity with no chance of a Cup? I know the path that I would prefer.

  18. The worst lost of the past 10 worst losts of the season. This team just gets more disappointing. Thanks Holland for screwing the team!

  19. Top 2 loss behind the oilers 8-1 that I attended 🤦🏾‍♂️ I really hope they play better on Kopi night when I attend

  20. They will win the next game and fake optimism will be be back in full force. That's how they get fans to buy into mediocrity they have created. There is always a chance, anything can happen in the playoffs, remember 2012? Its a trick to cover up a disaster that are LA kings. Anything to sell another ticket. Only way to send a message to this ownership is to stop attending games and buying their product. That's the only true power fans have.

  21. I wonder what it is like to be on this roster. A retiring future HOF’er..Cup memories..promising young players..addition and subtraction..arrival of Artemi Panarin his number only available as an iconic guy departs for another. Whew!

And the coaching! How was management even thinking this was good for the team. It’s too bad. 🌱🕸️🥅🏒💫

  22. This downward spiral falls on the coaching staff.
Yes, the players carry their share of responsibilities for the dismissal effort,..but it starts at the top.

  23. Well stated Eddie.
Team not ready or inspired to play this game and plenty others espically at home.
The fans deserve a better effort than what they showed last night.
Entertainment dollars can be spent in other ways.
As a fan since 1974 and a season seat holder, things need to change thru the organization top to bottom.
Would players except sub par service when spending there entertainment dollars?
Im tired of hearing in post game" flush this one"

  24. The two versus Nashville are all that matter. It was hard to watch and it was clear the Kings are not a match for the Mammoth. The playoffs might be painful again

  25. Utah is a very good team and with virtually no superstar players. Emphasis on ‘team’ they are well coached and every player knows how to bring it every night. Big contrast on display last night.

  26. They are not a team. I watch other games and the difference is astounding. It's "B" league every game. Slow-motion. Predictable passing. Zero chemistry, no fight, no passion, no points. The excitement of the season is GONE. I will be amazed if they win 2 or more games before they fail to make the playoffs. Sad for Kopitar. What an anticlimactic finish/exit.

  27. Something wrong with this team for sure….capable yes but do they really show up and is there anyone who wants to pick the team up on his back….no

  28. Mikey is somehow +2 saddled with Drew. Drew is not a bad player, but in a league where all of the good teams have speed, you can't have the oldest defenseman playing the most minutes. Which he once again had last night while being -3.
