This was the worst possible move. Should have fired McCrimmon instead. Cassidy will get scooped up in a hurry and win a cup there quickly.

Guess they needed a fall guy. Cassidy isn’t blameless, but he’s far from the biggest issue. Not that we were going to make any noise in the playoffs, but this puts a bullet in the head of any small locker room vibes this team had left.

Maybe Tortorella plays Hart down the stretch instead of Hill, but Cassidy could have done that also. 🤷♂️
