The thing is, TF, should have already been relieved of ALL duties. Instead, we have him sitting in that office, and laughing in our faces. He’s SUPREMELY confident, that he’ll be back next season. Well, for WHAT, exactly? You’ve had over FIVE YEARS to build something, and we’re objectively no better than when you began. You can argue that, but look at our playoff history, and remember the 9-0 beat-down we took, from The Islanders. Do we look better? A coach, which was gifted the job, by YOU. PHOPS sets the vision, short and long term, and approves all deals while GM acts on that vision while also doing the other daily GM duties.
Shanahan/Lamoriello then Shanahan/Dubas would be the model.
