At least it feels like spring is finally here to stay.
Always good to wake up to a car alarm going off then a metal clanging on the ground….maybe someone was just changing a tire?
Larkin has been thrown under the bus a bit here as of late and i have to say, the only thing i dont like about him as a leader is how he hangs his head after a loss. Zetterberg never did that, Lidström didnt have a lot of ugly losses during his career (for obvious reasons) but Larkin looks like he just received a phone call that someone ran over his dog.
You have to think that rubs off on the other players in some way.
Watching Peacemaker a 3rd time bc it’s so great and can’t find anything worthwhile to watch between Wings games at night.
I’d love to see us come out with some energy tonight to take advantage of the pens playing a back to back. But knowing this team they’ll play super flat until the last 5 minutes
Anyone know our record against teams on a back-to-back this season? Pretty sure it’s not good, but that’s not an easy stat to look up.

I feel like today pretty much decides it. Not mathematically, obviously. But if we lose and everyone else wins…yeah.
Man I couldn’t be more happy that we traded a first round pick for a 34 year old defenseman that hasn’t really made much of a difference since he’s been here. Much smarter trade than going out and getting that long lost 2nd line center we’ve been looking for since Holland signed Stephen Weiss.
