I've been waiting… when are these clowns going to be officially eliminated so I can make my yearly "happy leafs elimination day" post? I have about 50 leafs fans on my friends list just waiting for it.
You fire him because he was slowly making the team worse and putting the team in a worse position in terms of draft picks, prospects and trade capital in general. He did the same thing in Calgary and I had no idea why Shanahan, another disaster, hired him in the first place.

This is why I love being a leafs fan I’m 32 and I genuinely believe there’s a real chance I’ll go the rest of my life without seeing the leafs win another cup 😂 at this point I don’t even care I just can’t believe how much of a shit show this team is decade after decade. The Leafs don't just wait too long to make needed changes, they very often hire the wrong people in the first place … which is ever worse.
Why now? Why not before the deadline? Why not let the new regime start as soon as possible? I truly don't understand, and if it's to "send a message" then that's getting lost in the poor timing and consistent turnstile at coaching and management side of the Leafs.

Are you a real Leafs fan like me? I was there for their last Stanley cup parade and for almost 60 years now I have suffered along with all of you. If you would like to ever see our buds hoist the cup ever again do this; stop watching their games, stop buying tickets to their games (home or away) and stop buying their swag! Guaranteed the league will feel that since we subsidize a great number of other teams. Guaranteed that the commissioner will make sure that the leafs will finally be allowed to go all the way. Try it, you’ll like it.

I liked Brad Treliving's personality, but man, as a Flames fan, we're doing a rebuild due to Brad Treliving, influenced arguably by Murray Edwards', poor player management. Toronto needs their version of Craig Conroy.

There is an article in French about Marc Bergevin former Montreal GM, being a potential candidate for Treliving replacement… If it is confirmed that will make a good SDPN show when you consider how Adam Wylde is not a fan of him. By the way, has a Habs fan i hope you get a better GM than him despite Bergevin being the GM who built a team that went in the Stanley cup finale and one that reached the conference finale.
