I play in a no hitting beer league, and I’m confident that he wouldn’t have been kicked out of one of my games for this. Players have done worse and not been kicked out. It’s a little lackluster

Somewhere along the line during the last 10ish years the Maple Leafs as an organization, from top to bottom, seemed to have developed a complex about what it means to be a “tough” hockey team.

The difference between the Toronto’s Joe Bowen and this is very telling. First off Bowen does not hesitate to call out bad calls either way.
