    Best thing about being a wings fan in March is I can suddenly find 2.5 hours extra three times a week.

    Our best team on paper of the rebuild yet (especially on defense and in goal), our most skilled coach since Babcock. But it keeps happening, albeit a couple weeks later this year.

    What needs to change? Is our conditioning/training staff just not keeping these guys in shape to play this deep into the season when everybody else can step it up? Or do we need to start having uncomfortable discussions about Yzerman or leadership

    I keep thinking about the chatter that the team just had to play .500 hockey to be in.

    Even if they did, they’d still be chasing a playoff spot, because Buffalo, Philly, Boston, Montreal, even Pittsburgh, they are that tough.

    Still too many passengers on this team.
