I’m not a fan of either team, but I am entertained.

Cruise control till playoffs?  Eight points ahead of Dallas with nine games to play.

  3. Classic trap game it looks like. Mind you I just heard that this game existed

  4. NickdoesnthaveReddit

We clinched last place and can finally score goals now

  5. Come on now. I don’t think Colorado is THE WORST. They’re fine.

  6. YungBeefaroni

Too many people are comfortable forgetting that the worst NHL team is still an NHL team

  7. Away-Information9841

canucks have nothing to lose and they’re playing like it. avs are about clinched for the presidents trophy and they’re just playing sloppy as fuck and blackwood was just putrid with his positioning and poise. is what it is glad i didn’t pay for tickets and drive 8 hours to see this garbage lol!!

  8. these happen. all the time.

im a leafs fan, and anytime we lose to a bottom feeder in the last few years, the fanbase freaks, yet, they are blind to the fact that every good team loses to a bad one every once in a while. always funny to think that YOUR team is the only one who loses these games. fandom can be crazy.

Has anyone actually made sure the right players are wearing the right jerseys? Maybe this is some kind of April fools joke and the teams switched jerseys?!?

This is why I don’t think they win the cup, good but over confident at times with a bad power play will get you.

  11. trebla1158

I guess that’s what happens when one player get injured. The entire team falls apart. Kinda sounds familiar.

So all Vancouver needed was to face Colorado 82 times and they’d make the playoffs.

  13. Best team in the league is losing 6-3 vs a pacific division bottom dweller.

Fuck antidepressants inject this shit right into my veins

  15. Most-obvious Avs loss lol. Chance to clinch 1st in west with a win tonight and then a regulation win Saturday, just vaporized Calgary on Monday, facing the worst team in the league by a good margin. Hate that I saw this coming lol

  16. thundergundong

as a sens fan it does make me feel better about our last game…….

  17. It’s like the Blue Jays losing 2 of 3 to Colorado this week.

  18. nonebutmyself

That’s what I love about hockey. Any team can win on any given night.

  19. canadachris44

Nothing else to watch tonight so I threw this one… hell of an action packed game! Fiesty, quick and lots of chances.

Amazing how shitty the Av’s Powerplay is… can’t believe it when I heard it the other day. They are my favorite for The cup but fuck.. they gotta clean up the D and get the PP going

  20. RikimaruRamen

Looks like the Avs decided to have a cheeky April fools day game

  21. WE WANT 10 WE WANT 10 WE WANT THE CUP WE WANF THE CUP

Alternate title: Nordiques jerseys are utterly CURSED

  23. Bellam_Orlong

I’m not sure if this just a fluke night, or if they’re treating it more like an exhibition match?

Them being listed as Quebec and Nordiques certainly adds to my theory. Not a huge Avalanche fan, but I love seeing those vintage uniforms back out on the ice.

  24. This is why I love hockey, it’s entirely possible for an underdog to pull the rug out from a better team on occasion and snag an awesome win.

I’m historically more of an F1 guy, and these outcomes just are not possible there. It’s just always the best car(s) winning, barring accidents happening. Hockey can be unpredictable, and because of that, it’s honestly just more entertaining on average.

  25. Minute_Engineer2355

This how the rest of playoff teams hope Colorado plays during the playoffs.
