  1. Hire the guy who led his team to a 32nd place overall finish and sub-60 point season.

    That’ll work.

  2. DataDude00

    Hiring Allvin to tank for the first overall pick would make more sense if we actually owned any of those

    Considering we don’t, I am not sure why we would be eager to hire the guy running the worst team in the league right now

  3. Prof_Scott_Steiner

    I’m sure if untethered from Rutherford and the Aquillinis that he may be competent.

    I don’t care. The answer is already here. We owe Pridham a shot to Captain the Enterprise.

  4. theguyishere16

    Allvin’s tenure as Canucks GM makes Treliving look like a brilliant hockey mind.

  5. LeGreen1995

    Definitely think Doug Armstrong is the fit here. Depends if he wants it or not I would think

  6. PandoNation

    Id rather have a Vancouvers GM from ea sports franchise mode than this guy

  7. Upbeat_Leader_7185

    Well, he’s got the sort of track record the Leafs generally go for.

  8. Ah yes, the man who inherited a 40 win team and turned them into a 20 win team.

    No better man for the job.

  9. Fantastic_Goat_8454

    He may not have full control of the roster but he ran the canucks drafts and he only picks swedes.

  10. Big_Albatross_3050

    Yeah, lets hire the guy that took one of the best teams in the west to the clear cut 32nd team in the league

  11. The Canucks are Jimmy Rutherford’s operation, and Allvin is the sock puppet.

    I can’t name you a single decent move the Canucks have made the last 3 or 4 years that I’ve actually thought was great.

    * Trading away Horvat over Miller?
    * Trading away Miller over Pettersson?
    * Extending Pettersson?
    * The Hughes trade return?
    * The DeBrusk UFA contract?

  12. EvilNeville

    It’s Pridham’s time. Stop bringing in GMs that have baggage.

  13. RoosterMedical

    Yeah, a lot of shit like this is going to be put out there.

  14. Fit-Lemon-6198

    Jason Spezza also made his list of possible candidates, along with Sunny Mehta, and Bret Peterson.

  15. others have said Mile Gillis, who was an absolute trainwreck. No thanks. Next.

  16. LeafiestOutcome

    That thought coalesced in his mind, he typed it out and then hit publish. Spectacular.

  17. Throwing shit at the wall……something’s bound to stick.

    Journalism with sports and the arts is a big « LOOK AT ME ».

  18. Goldinsight

    How about we try something different and have a guy lead the Leafs intellectually instead of former player or been there and sucked at it.

  19. Evening_Extreme_1681

    Can we exclude GM’s from other failing Canadian team from our search this time, please?

  20. Itwasuntilitwasnt

    Nope. We already did the Canuck experiment with nonnis. Leafs management stop do not listen to media, or so called no it all YouTubers.

    Look very long and hard. Interview 20 candidates if that’s what it takes.

    Look very long and hard. Interview 20 candidates if that’s what it takes. We might as well put ujiri in charge.

    Unique problems in Toronto, require unique solutions. Not trying jam an old square peg, in a round hole
