Given the way the season has gone, defence has been a major issue and Quinn is arguably the best defenseman in the NHL, and we know what he can do. Quinn Hughes dominating the game may be out of anyone's control and we shouldn't worry about it. We knew how good he was when he was traded. We knew he was amazing and we would never, ever get market value for him. Just focus on clinching last place and giving ourselves the best chance possible to get as a high a pick as possible. Now is not the time to be sending our new enforcer out to mess with him. Get through the final games, get to the draft and hopefully get McKenna or Stenberg. All this other stuff is irrelevant. He's gone. He's not coming back, so the Canucks need to focus on the task at hand – rebuilding the team properly, not rushing it, developing prospects properly and making the necessary moves after we have a new core of young players to compete again.
God, it so weird seeing him in those colors. But we’ll have to get used to it.
I hope he drops a hatrick
Hughes too small and fragile
He wont make it out of the conference
