WHO DO THE VANCOUVER CANUCKS SELECT 1st OVERALL AT THE 2026 NHL DRAFT?
Can't trust Canucks management to draft the right player even if with #1 overall.
Maybe I'm taking crazy pills, but I'd strongly consider taking Malhotra at #1 if he continues to go beast-mode in the playoffs.
I would take Stenberg first McKenna at 2 and Malhotra third…Smits would be my the first Dman off my board…fun video great job!

If they get screwed again and get third (most likely), pick Reid.
Canucks D is 5 out of 10. Team must draft best and strongest D first NHL ready. Same for second pick best LD ready for AHL. 3 rd pick kid like Hextall 4rd Zurovski.
Canucks cabn not draft best forward the must shore up D first than add FWRD players.

– I just love the potential upside on Reid and we could really use someone who is good at breaking into the zone (like Quinn Hughes could). Im just not sure that I am totally convinced that Buium or Willander is there yet.
– If not Chase Reid than Caleb Malhotra, but I feel like that would lead to bad optics if Manny Malhotra becomes the head coach…
