    There are clear deficiencies in their game, but the officiating has been extra brutal since the Olympic break. It’s like the league is doing everything they can to keep the Preds out of the playoffs.

    For what it’s worth, the way the Preds have played down the stretch should give a bit of insight into what kind of playoff team we should be.

    Trotz made the decision to bring in proven playoff performers in Stammer, Marchy and O’Reilly specifically because they can lift in big situations.

    The next game against the Kings will be the biggest game of the season, for the third game in a row.

    Thankfully we have no more games to play against the East, where almost all our losses have come from since the break.
