Still have a snowball’s chance in hell lol

  2. gleeson630

Nobody is gonna be angry at this atp but it is complete bullshit they start winning exactly when they are out. I’m not mad but it’s so predictable.

    Devils finishing out the season

  4. Both the refs and the Habs tried so hard to get Caulfield to 50. Hilarious.

Also, I am once again begging you to extend Cody Glass

  5. For the record the devils could be 3 points out of a playoff spot rn but they dropped games to the rags and flames in march…ridiculous.

  6. I think the worst part about this season is that there’s only maybe 2 premier teams in the entire east. It’s wide open. You’re really telling me this canadiens team is one of the best give me a fucking break

  7. ExperienceEvery1866

A Devils shutout on Easter Sunday, ya gotta love it

  8. cabutler03

Marky gets the shut out. Yay.

Sadly Pittsburgh, Ottawa, and Philly got wins so that’s not great, but Detroit loss and Washington is looking at a loss, too, so that’s good.

Playoffs are still a long shot, but the team ain’t dead yet!

FIRST SHUTOUT FOR MARKY THIS SEASON:

    * we are 11-0-0 IN MONTREAL
    * we are 24-0-0 going into the third period with a lead (I think thats right? it might be off by one?)
    * we ended Montreal’s win streak!
    * we didnt let Cole Caufield score his 50th goal
    * WE DIDNT LET ANYONE WEARING A MONTREAL JERSEY SCORE
    * we had the most complete game of our season from beginning to end!
    * our penalty kill was GORGEOUS all night long
    * our power play was NOT
    * Nico is EVEN CLOSER TO 1000 faceoffs won this season
    * bottom six depth scoring!
    * the boys sticking up for each other!
    * winning even though the refs didn’t want us to!
    * I need to know what one of these hot dogs from Montreal tastes like

and we are seven points out of a playoff spot….L O L

Couldn’t watch until the 3rd period since I was at the Yankee game, but we looked great from what I did watch! Stoked we got the shutout, and those fights were fun too! Loved Luke getting into one

  13. Insane how dominant they’ve been in Montreal! The only thing this game was missing was a Bratt goal because I feel like he always dominates in that building. Marky Shutout! Refs tried to skew the game but the PK came through big time! Oh and no 50 goal milestones on our watch! This team continues to hang on by a strand of dental
floss but I’d rather them go out fighting!

  14. Sisyphusss3

I hate that I can never root for this team to lose.
I became a season ticket holder in 14-15 the night 42 year old Jagr scored a hat trick on the Flyers from Scott Gomez V2 – this was a great win especially for Golden Goal Guy

  15. raggedyannie28

Connor still fired up in the postgame interview

  16. scumbagstaceysEx

Guys…stop talking shit in the nhl and hockey subs. The Habs are going to the playoffs and we aren’t. Just enjoy tonight’s win and eleven game streak at Centre Bell with dignity. Let’s focus the hate on Philly now.

  17. Minimum-Operation-71

3 outta 4 points against a red hot Montreal team with with a shutout? Awesome cooking team.

  18. PorscheUberAlles

I love that brownie got a misconduct from bitching at the refs; they were awful tonight. I wanna know what he said!

  19. bucket_of_fried_bird

Call us McDonalds the way we made those French (Canadians) FRIED

  20. If everything goes perfectly, the Devils can mathematically be 3rd place in the Metro by Sunday 4/12.

  21. xxfatpigxx

lol Habs fans hate the Hughes bros so much. Checking some of the highlight posts in the main sub and they’re real salty. Though some of that is also r/hockey’s echo chamber of haters determined to bitch about Jack and Luke at any opportunity.

  22. DFVSUPERFAN

Was at the game, low class cucknadians booed the anthem before the game. They booed Jackyboy every time he touched the puck and he showed them. Jack destroys Canada AGAIN. LGD.

  23. LilRobbyBobby

Insane saves tonight from Markstrom, shut them down and did some great work third period

  24. SevenwithaT

Interesting, no Habs fans coming in here saying GoOd GaMe GuYs tonight, I wonder why

  25. Calamityv0

Don’t post in r/nhl right now, so many Canadians still butthurt about the Olympics on a downvote vendetta. Looking for reasons to shit on Jack and Luke.

  26. Shutout by Markstrom? LOL the Montreal Canadiens are a joke.

    WTF is a Hab anyway?

  27. matty-ice27

Never been a bigger advocate for getting rid of the loser point than I have been this season. Would be tied for third in the Metro and a tie for the second wildcard

  28. Jack running into someone, going stiff, dropping like he was shot by a sniper, and hitting his head on the ice had me very concerned… and then very confused.

That boy has to learn how to fall. So awkward.

  29. TediousSpark

Jesus I had no clue Habs fans got so salty. They won last night, both were great games!

  30. LaHondaSkyline

Lots to like about the Devils tonight.

Here is my favorite thing: Devils not only retaliated for the Bolduc dirty hit on Luke Hughes, but also prevented the Habs from cashing in on the fact that the refs (1) failed to call any penalty on Bolduc for that dirty hit, and (2) wrongly called Dillon for instigating.

In mean, really, what could be better than that?

  31. Devils haven’t lost in Montreal since 2017. Need to play them more there.
