You guys should be ranting, as should all Red Wings fans. It's soon going to be a decade and counting with no playoffs. And next season I'm afraid we'll be battling with the Leafs for the basement in the division.
They were in the playoffs in Feb and just completely blew it. Seider, Ed,ASP. MBN, Cossa, Augustine, Cat, Ray, Kasper, Daneilson keep. Everyone else complete overhaul.

It's got nothing to do with talent. Idk how you can watch these games and say that these players are giving it their all. They look apathetic.
At the end of the day, for majority of the season, we were a one line team. Stevies made a lot of bad signings mainly Copp, Compher, Rasmussen extension, signing Justin Hall to a $4 million multi year contract, trading away Walman and a second for nothing. I could go on. But it’s inexcusable to not have a good second line center. It’s been our biggest downfall and that’s why this happens year after year. Larkin gets hurt every year and there’s no one to fill that role. Our defense cannot move the puck up to the forwards. Earlier in the year, they did a much better job of that but they seem to have reverted to Lalondes system for some reason
Blow the entire core up. Trade Larkin. Get Rasmussen, Copp, Compher, Appleton, JVR, and Kane tf out of here by any means necessary.
This core of geriatric, lazy, and unskilled jerseys has been leaching off this franchise and turning what was once revered and a storied sports team into the FN Maple Leafs 2.0, the only difference being we always pass on a FN superstar every draft!!!!
