Pasta is an ELITE offensive player who makes egregious beer league puck possession decisions in high danger situations sometimes, isn’t what you’d call a 200’ player
Pasta has a lot to prove, more than any.player on the team. For too long, the rub on him is that he doesn't elivate and dominate at this time of year and we have a 11 season sampling. Sweeney is rolling the dice for Pasta, not bringing Hagens up, so as not to be a distraction – ridiculous- to the team. Pasta has to take this team on his back. If he doesn't, he needs to go!
Lets face it. Pasta has been the worst player on the ice in the last two games. He’s slow and a give away machine. He’s a liability. Then we have our next two best players in McAvoy and Lindholm costing us goals with boneheaded plays. Then we keep playing Geeke who sucks. Hes a third liner at best. Bring up Poitras, Lysell and Hagens.
