How can you put Lindgren in a must win game while not playing in almost a month?! Pathetic. Carbery and Chris are to blame
Still no Ilya Protas or Andy Cristall on the team? Thats the reason why we're sucking. These prospects need a look if we are not taking a playoff push seriously.

I knew it. This was a dangerous trap game. The one positive News is that they can make it with four straight wins. Beating pitt two in a row very difficult, but they need 8 out of 8 possible points and thats still no guarentee. Far from it.
LT probably wouldn’t save the night and I’d rather lose in embarrassing fashion than 2-1 in regulation. Now cream Toronto before the final three that will determine everything.
Chucky will only play again this season if caps lose in Toronto. Then who cares?

That was the worst performance I’ve ever seen out of any Alexander Ovechkin team. To lose to a last place team and have a shot at the playoffs? What an absolute joke. In my opinion, Carberry needs to go. It’s clear he has lost the room.
I just hope the young guys coming up next year take huge steps forward or else this team is going to be at the bottom for a while
I would have rode the brakes off of Logan Thompson. I don’t care what he is dealing with or how much rest he needs. In a must win game against the last place team.

bad message ,i think thompson should have started, just to say we are in desperate mode and are willing to ride thompson until his legs fall off. 1-1 with Thompson in net is a completely different mindset going into 2nd period.

Very frustrating watch the inconsistent Jekyll & Hyde has returned at the worst time. Caps faced a rangers team that had 6 rookies in the lineup, seeing what they have. This was a must win against a team that we should have beaten. Now the schedule gets harder as we face a rival team for 2 and a Columbus team that we have struggled against. It is not looking good. Theres hope, but is it false hope?
hate to say it but the Caps don't deserve a post season. Sure anything can happen and wow, it happened poorly to the Caps. If they sneak in, what kind of compete will they have for a top seed? Who knows. What an embarrassment—how is this team not prepared? What happened to the "game 7" mentality that Ovi alluded to? Instead, we got the Jeckyll and Hyde Caps. Been happening all season long—which team is gonna show up? They go toe to toe against BUF but can't beat the struggling teams. Left points on the table. Ugh
Should’ve hired Nelson instead of Carbery. Would be happy to have Cassidy now, or Nelson. Need to move on from his man-to-man system. As Strome said, Carbery is just obsessed with his matchups.
