Hopefully when Mat Barzal turns the puck over at the blue line (Blackhawks game) – then gets beaten up the ice by 9 other players- he gets benched by DeBoer – instead of getting more ice time like he did under Roy.
I hope this works out.. Roy will be missed the players respected him

Unlike the Jets, the Islanders have the gravitas to hire a premium HC. That says something about Darche and our team history.

Once again an NHL coaching job goes to a retread, who's now with his 6th franchise. The fact that the majority of the current coaches are recycled, is proof that the league would still rather operate as an old boys network, instead of infusing fresh new blood behind the bench. Hiring PDB just continues a cycle that has yet to be broken & probably never will.
