Il est considéré comme l’un des meilleurs attaquants défensifs de la ligue et depuis la pause olympique, il mène l’équipe avec 17 points !
Son contrat est devenu une aubaine absolue pour les Flyers qui arrivent à 4 pour 3 ans supplémentaires… c’est l’une des principales raisons pour lesquelles ils ont opté pour ce radiateur.
Quel joueur il est devenu après avoir été un choix de 5e ronde en 2017.

He’s come alive again since the Olympics. He looked a bit lost for a while once Foerster went down but he’s found it again, and at exactly the right time.
He doesn’t get nearly enough credit

People can hate on Torts all they want, but Cates is one of the things he got right. I remember all the eyebrows that got raised when Torts said how much he loved this dude.
I was at the game in San Jose and took my 3 year old son. We got to the rink early for warm ups and were able to stand right by the tunnel. My son was too nervous to high five the players as they came out but Cates went out of his way to come up to us and hand my son a warm up puck. Love seeing how great of a player he’s become but also don’t forget that he’s a hell of a good guy.
