    There was some concern among the fanbase that we wouldn’t be able to attract NCAA free agents, but this kind of thing is why we have nothing to worry about. As dysfunctional as parts of the organization are, we treat players at every level well. There’ll always be people who want to play here.

    I knew Giordano and Muzzin were working for Leafs, I didn’t know Clifford was there too ??

    That’s 2/3 of those guys with Cup rings, and Giordano got to the Finals !!

    I remember when Dubas had a vision for Spezza to run this kinda stuff for Leafs…

    This is what the Rogers effect is going to be. They can’t increase spending against the cap, but they’ll put effort into every other aspect that will draw players. Better facilities and amenities, sponsorship access, whatever they can pull off they’ll try to

    Not saying that can’t be offered elsewhere, but given how the Jays were overhauled, I suspect the Bell co-ownership was a big problem in this aspect
