He absolutely cannot be a 1C on a cup contender.
I think it’s a combo of an injury and his energy is drained from the Olympics. He gave that team his all, nothing left for Detroit
I mean, he didn’t get a real break because he was at the Olympics and then got injured a week after that and has been held together by duck tape since coming back from that injury. I definitely wish he was better but it’s not like it’s a complete mystery as to why he’s been behind a bit.
Good job. Lol
Larkins inconsistencies are a massive issue. His inability to finish doesn’t help Raymond or anyone else they paired on his line. And he’s not really the playmaker I guess either
Almost like he got injured or something
Trade him?
He does this every year. Mental block
I gotta give the good people of this subreddit credit, because they seem to know just the right the time to start bitching
He got what he wanted at the Olympics
He showed you
I blame his leadership as well. The team looks disinterested in big games and we need our captain to lock them back in. His comments at last year’s deadline about not getting enough help gave a glimpse into his leadership.
Happens every year.
He is a maga loving loser. Trade him
Has anyone been good 5 on 5 the past 2-3 months?
I hate to admit it but I’m more and more thinking Larkin isn’t the answer and maybe we’d be better off with a different leader.
Last year, he scored 9 goals in January. February, March, and April, he scored 8, *total.*
Then, he threw the FO under the bus for not buying at the deadline to get them over the hump.
Dylan Larkin collapsing in the second half of the season? We’ve watched this movie before!
Just scored btw
Dropped off last season after 4 Nations too. This year it started earlier and felt sharper
Regardless, it’s good to see people realizing the team needs a new centerpiece. Let’s hope the decision-makers realize it too. Not sure exactly how you play that though. 1C talent tough to come by
But he’s from here! He won an Olympic gold!
NOOOO WE CANT CRITICIZE DYLAN LARKIN!!!! HE ISNT THE PROBLEM I LOVE CHOKING ON HIM
/s
I mean if it was only him… But the whole team is terrible
Yaaa don’t saaaaay!!
Same story as every year. He’s a good player but can’t be your best forward
Don’t be Leafs fans. This is being Leafs fans.
Did I accidentally open the Facebook comments on one of Helene’s articles?
The man is playing on one leg.
On a team that really struggles to score.
I don’t get it with the Larkin hate. He’s not McDavid but my god is a a competent middle of the league 1C everyday for the last several years.
We have so many issues to choose from and this is the complaint?
Per usual

Can’t lead in a leadership role…
