I mean other than his speed he seems pretty healthy, has he even missed any games this season? Probably soreness and fatigue mostly, can’t blame him since it’s been over 20 years of playing mostly complete seasons

I don’t know why it’s not being talked about more, but he still would need to play next season to pass Gretzky in total goals including postseason.

I know that’s not as important a record, but I selfishly would love for Ovi to have every possible goal scoring title squared away before he retires. So reduce his ice time, get him another 20 goals to grab that record, and let the youth maybe spark one last postseason run for him.

Certainly needs an answer by the draft. He skates like he has a refrigerator on his back. I think it’s time to move on.

Announcement: Ovi says the exact same thing hes said for a year

  5. Not a fan of this. Kind of holding the team hostage. He hasn’t been good this year. He’s a huge defensive liability, and a statue in his office on offense. Paint dries faster than he skates. If he wants to play, maybe let him finish elsewhere. I was a Caps fan b4 him, and I’ll still be one when he’s back in his mother Russia.

didn’t he say this before the season ever began?
