  1. As a new hockey fan and a new pens fan, this was super informative. Just wanted to say it really helped me understand just why EK is so hard to handle when he plants himself far into the offensive area.

  2. Crosby stole a gold medal from team USA in 2010, and the Stanley Cup from my Sharks in 2016. I’m sure he’s a great guy, but he’s always been a thorn in my teams sides. Still hell of a talent.

  3. Im curious about what the post-crosby penguins look like. They had Mario from 1985 – 2005 then crosby from 2005 – now. Thats 41 years straight of having a generational superstar. Whoever the next 1st line center is – they have some big shoes to fill.

  4. As someone who watches hockey, but never played, I can say u taught me more in this video then I ever knew about the game 🫡

  5. I am really so excited for the Pens, this season. Another cup in Pittsburgh would be unexpected from last season, and beyond cool! 😊

  6. The Pens NEED to resign Chinakov. Could be a very important piece for the franchise for when they eventually have to transition away from Crosby & Malkin. I don’t know how good the expect Kindel to be, but you can see star power from Egor…

  7. Skinner is ass only got a name by his plus minus as much as I want to see the kid go on a run to cap off a phenomenal career skinner ain’t the flower and the kid is a man

  8. Well I know it would be really hard and idk if I would even do it, but if Pittsburgh wants to rebuild, trading Crosby and Malkin for picks/young talent might really fast track a rebuild.

  9. They're Centre rich in Pittsburgh. Tossing Malkin onto the wing was a stroke of genius by the coach. I'd honestly throw him in with Crosby more often.

  10. It's not great long term for the Pens but I'll admit they look fun so far in 2026. Their saving grace is that Dubas is running the show pretty much on his own from the hockey side and I'm confident he will blow it up when it comes time finally to do that. idk if that means when Sid is like 47 years old and somewhat still effective but Dubas has shown that he is smart and gets the right people in around him behind the bench and in the front office. He's even been really savvy so far with the roster moves, highlighted by the goalie swap.

Short term? The streets demand Pens-Flyers 1st rd really bad. Sid may own this team historically but if I was them I would rather face the Isles or Columbus in the 2 vs 3 metro series. Local rivalry matchups are crazy unpredictable.

  11. I feel like Skinner is going to be the guy for some reason. No idea if they'll even get in, or find a way to get to the final, but if they do, he'll be the story at the end.

  12. And…And…they have snipers on all four lines. Every line can pick a corner and will score on a high percentage of shots where they get a good look at the net/goalie. I can’t remember a time they had this many good shooters throughout the lineup.
