Isn’t this the guy that said he didn’t want to leave the SHL because he feels too much of an obligation to stay?
Let him stay.
He said he wanted to stay, but I don’t know if that was him trying to just say the right thing.
is the AHL really that much better of a development league than the SHL? Can’t he go the NCAA route?
Dvo extension looks a lot better and make more sense if he stays one more season in the SHL imo

hes under contract another year in sweden but he can sign here then be loaned back like some people have already commented. he should be coming for one of the camps anyways so this just gives him some extra training time and some pro games. that being said he probably gets mad swedish hoes and how do you give that up when youre a 20 year old pro athlete drafted to the NHL who just beefcaked his way to a silver medal at the WJC. how do you ask a kid to give that up to sleep on cots in allentown?
