This aspect of MSL’s character, along with his incredible NHL pedigree, is what allows him to speak to his players and get them to respond to him. It’s a beautiful thing.

Every day I’m grateful that we started our rebuild with MSL as head coach and not some dinosaur off the coaching carousel.
Ted Lasso
Definitely the right guy to run with, we are better than expected. He did so good at managing the goalie issues we were having. Can you imagine if we didn’t have to go through that moment ? Great leader and knows what it takes to become a winning team.
One of the best parts about being a habs fan right now is how generally likable the team is. Front office is great, does right by the players they’ve dealt away, the players are all likable human beings and excellent on and off the ice. Our coach is a legend and such a solid person.
It’s a great time to be a habs fan, and the future is only getting brighter. 😎
This man needs to be kept at all cost. I can’t imagine them with out MSL.

Surely the SLisms are plentiful enough by now to make into a book. How he knows what to say, like always, is beyond me. And it’s not fluff, there are no word salads, he’s clear, he’s concise and articulate, even, and especially, when he doesn’t know the answer. The honesty and integrity in his replies have even tamed the french media (mostly), which is saying something.
Hell, I’d go through the wall for him and I can’t even skate.
